A teenager skateboarder was believed to be recovering today after he was airlifted to hospital with head injuries.


The teenager was hurt after falling in Phear Avenue, Exmouth, on Saturday morning.

The Devon Air Ambulance was called out to airlift the youth to the head injuries unit at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. It landed nearby in Phear Park.

Police later said the youth had been kept in hospital for observation and had a positive outlook for recovery.
